Cappella is a graphical installer script buidling tool currently under development. Apple has no specific plans to release Cappella. Apple makes no commitment to offer support for Cappella. Cappella may contain serious bugs. Portions of Cappella may contain non-idiomatic English. Use Cappella at your own risk.
That having been said, Cappella's advantages include:
• visualization - the ability to see an Installer script’s structure
• simplicity - drag install and compression for creation of Installer scripts by novices (i.e. for demos, tools, and even Cappella itself)
• leverage - the ability to create large numbers of ‘infa’, ‘infs’, and ‘intf’ atoms with a simple drag & drop operation from Finder; ability to multiply edit atoms; complete removal of atoms
• reuse - the ability to import existing scripts as a basis for future scripts and the ability to cut and paste packages between scripts
